You don't have to exploit the game by smithing to get it.Ĭheck out your kingdom policies. My current plan is to hire mercs and try get a nearby town fast (4th and last ) but after that Im not sure what i need to do. What are my options? Do I grit my teeth and try grinding forever to barely purchase one lord ? Is there a better way to find a unhappy lord? Do I try going for mercenaries? This will break my economy i so desperately need. One vassal i hhad 86 relationship with was the only guy in his faction and would settle for 230k. My problem is that i cannot find a vassal to convince and when i do find an unhappy one and convince, they always want 300k+. I understand that vassals with fiefs are more expensive. I know about the release prisoners thing. My problems are, as you might have guessed, vassals. I am between khuzaits, aserai and a crumbling southern empire I manage to defend my castles and town quite well, but only for short campaigns, my villages love me enough to replenish the garrisons in peace times. Occasionally i manage to gather them all for a joint defense or offense which can yield results but ultimately my army is mostly t1 t2 t3 and suffers against elite enemy armies. I have to rely on speed and single target assasinations, which usually leads my other parties getting wiped somewhere off map. So our combined strength is not enough to fight the enemies combined armies. My brother fields 130 soldiers tops, wife and son about 100 each and i can fied up to 227. I try to hit them fast and hard then sue for peace, either paying very little tribute or making them pay. I cannot fight a kingdom head to head, i am outnumbered. Whenever i drop lower i get an occasional steppe bandit quest from the main quest and sell all of them snd their loot for a quick bounceback. I have garrisoned the castles alright with t1-3 troops and the occasional t4 archer in order to be able to pay my familys and my own army without going broke. I have the southern empire paying me for peace. I have a few caravans running around and getting caught so i will soon not make caravans. I am clan 4 so i cannot have more parties yet, i will hit 5 soon. My brother, son and wife can field armies. Sorry for the long text, but I think id get the best help with thorough explaining. This is my second campaign as the old one was too old patchwise and ruined by economy. I need help to get off the grindlock im currently in.
